By his eleventh year, he was taking bluegrass lessons from Ellen Carlson, and he continued pursuing Texas-style fiddle from Meghan Lynch. Introduced to the band in 2015, Reed employs a remarkable ear for music to bring a unique country sound that complements the band’s driving rhythm and blues tendencies. Check out his solos on show-stoppers including “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” and “Orange Blossom Special.”

The two hit it off, sharing a love of the same music and style. Rob brings a wealth of experience and a vast array of musical influences to Nick’s Other Band. Like Keith, he is a talented vocalist, guitar player and a leader within the band. Rob says of Nick’s Other Band, “When you add the band’s (Keith, Chuck, Phil, Reed, Adam and Max) willingness to work together as a team and invest 110% of their musicianship, the result is a winning combination and really shows every time the band plays. You can tell we’re all in this together.”

He grew up on classic rock, attending concerts with his dad from a young age. He now appreciates artists from many genres, from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Damian Marley. Despite never receiving formal training, Adam has been playing bass for many years — he became especially dedicated in college, where he grew as a musician in his academic study of audio engineering and as a member of a band. In recent years, Adam has loved getting chances to play live music with several of his friends. When Adam is not playing bass, you can find him playing disc golf or pond hockey (depending on the season!). Adam is stoked to play with Nick’s Other Band, and he’s honored to have the opportunity to jam with and learn from a group of such talented musicians.

It was through work with Proctor Academy that Jeff came to know Nick’s Other Band and to appreciate the qualities that make it so unique and appealing. Now Jeff brings a lifetime of production expertise to six grateful musicians! Reflecting on his role, Jeff insists, “It’s all about the people. This band is special because the people are special. I consider this work to be the greatest chapter of my life.”
